Annual
lupins are really wonderful plants. Their pretty bi-coloured spires appear
in
profusion all summer long on very bushy plants that have lovely foliage. As
if that were not enough, they also have a delicate, sweet fragrance, which
pervades
the whole garden until the first frosts. Easy to look after, and perfect for
informal, cottage style plantings (not to mention what good cut flowers they
make), they are almost too good to be true, and yet are so rarely seen.
